NOW LIVE! SACRAMENTO COUNTY SHELF READY ADU PROGRAM

Over the past 2 years, the LMD team has been working with the Sacramento County Planning and Building Departments to develop pre-approved Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) plans. The Shelf Ready ADU program is now live and plans are available free of charge to the public.

The shelf ready ADU program consists of 5 sets of pre-approved plans that are fully engineered and ready to be used “off the shelf” in order to obtain a building permit. The 5 models vary in size and style with the goal of accommodating the needs of as many homeowners as possible. You can find the sample plan sets and renderings through the link below.

Model A2 (Willow) -460 square foot studio or one bedroom with a traditional front porch and roof line.

If you don’t live in Sacramento County, or the shelf ready plans aren’t the configuration or style you’re looking for, the LMD team can modify one of the pre-designed plans or work with you to design a fully custom ADU. We look forward to discussing your project!
